My first post of 2015 is about my last wedding of 2014, which is just perfect, as I have been thinking a lot about bringing two worlds together lately (not just because of the New Year).  As the year goes on, a lot of changes (both small and maybe a few big) will occur, and goals (some small, some big) will happen, and some will not.  As it happens with every year, I start with the best intentions.  But one thing I shouldn't feel is that my year has been unsuccessful or even downright terrible, if I haven't reached all of my goals, or made all of my changes.  What I should do is focus on the good points, the happy stuff, the blessings I have and realize that for me, those far outweigh the things that "didn't get done".  That is what I am focusing on this year, the things in my life that get done, and making the best of those things.  Then the things that I didn't do or still have yet to accomplish at the end of the year aren't failures, just postponed challenges. :) Speaking of bringing things together in a wonderful way, Sharon and Simon, she from America and he from UK, came together in marriage at the end of December.  It was a beautiful, simple yet elegant event and a great way to kick off their new life together.   Well traveled, and world wise, they both have incredible creativity and eye for details that is very enjoyable to photograph.  At the same time, the way they are together reminds me of the quiet way a couple who has been together 50 years enjoys each other.  They are just content and comfortable in being together.  It is amazing to witness true love. <3
