I have been a professional photographer for 20 years, and have photographed over 500 weddings and events (corporate, birthday parties, family reunions, etc). My experience in commercial/fashion photography and my love of art and music are a huge influence on who I am and my style of shooting. I love personalities and every event is unique, so the photos I take may be light hearted and easy going, or they may be silly and wild and fun, or they may be dramatic, romantic and elegant.
The one thing that is common to all the photographs I take is that I am in love with beautiful light. Your photos will be carefully composed and exposed and edited in my unique style that is rich, warm and timeless.
For most of the day, I am a "fly on the wall", capturing you as you are, interacting with your friends and family, in a creative unobtrusive way. When it comes time for portraits, I tell everyone I meet I will give you as much direction as you need. What that means is whether you are a couple (or individual or friends or family) who loves getting photographed, or if you are a little less comfortable in front of a camera, I will give you feedback on how great you look and try to capture you as you are and how you feel about the people you are being photographed with. I have been where you have been and I know how you feel, so you can trust me to make you look great but still get those shots that show off the real you. :)
